“Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity…it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” Melody Beattie

Today’s post contains great quotes on gratitude and appreciation. I hope that this post is a reminder and an inspiration for us to be grateful and appreciative not just for this time of the year but for the entire year.
May we all feel deep and heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the good in our lives.
Even though, there may be challenges and setbacks, may we still be able to recognize the threads of hope and light in our life.
Although, we may not feel grateful at times, may we see beyond that and change our perspective towards one of thankfulness.
May we always remember and thank people and things in our life that serve us unconditionally and make our lives a little more easy.
May we be a beacon of light and pass the attitude of gratitude forward and be an example of thankfulness and appreciation.

Hi Irish!
Thanks a lot for your comment and your kind words. I am very glad to know that you believe that your life and everything around you is a miracle! What a fabulous and empowered way to live your life! I completely agree that a lot of life depends on the filters that we use to see everything around us. A lot of times it may be difficult to see from this perspective but a small shift often works wonders and leads the way into a much greater realization of the idea of life as a blessing and a miracle.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful viewpoint.
Come back soon and visit LYG. Your presence here is appreciated!

Hey Harish. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. Perfect timing for this post.
I always try to express gratitude for the little things. To mean they are so much more than they seem and they keep things moving along.
I love the last quote from Denis Waitley. I think it is the true definition of happiness, it says it all.

Hi Lea,
Thanks a lot for your comment! Thanks for the best wishes also, I did have great Thanksgiving and I hope you had the same.
I really like your idea of expressing gratitude for the little things. It is very effective because even though someone is having a bad day, they can still find something small to feel gratitude for. It is like a small stepping stone in the way to greater gratitude and appreciation. I love the quote from Denis Waitley too! It is indeed the true definition of happiness.
Thanks again 🙂

Hi Ikechi!
Thanks a lot for your comment and thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it that you pinned some of the images!
I agree with you that as the year draws to a close, we need to take a little time and choose to be grateful and appreciative of the good that has happened in our life. And it is a wonderful idea to assess the bad and learn the lessons from that and appreciate the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and setbacks. It is a win-win gratitude situation!!
Seasons greetings to you too,
Thanks again.

Hi Harleena,
Thanks a lot for your comment. Thanks for the Thanksgiving best wishes. Yes, it was a great week and I hope that you had a great week too that was full of gratitude and appreciation.
I agree with you that we need to remind ourself to be grateful for not only the festive season but for all seasons of our life. It was a relatively cold and rainy day today and as I write this, I have the opportunity to be grumpy about the weather or be thankful for the opportunity for the great seasonal changes and other things that I could be grateful for. I will admit that for a second my mind wandered towards “it is a bad day” but then the image of the great transformation of seasons and the variety of nature became crystallized as an image and as an idea. I became aware that even this weather was fascinating and had a mini shift of consciousness. Perhaps this has been helped by writing the post on gratitude and appreciation, I do not know 🙂
Thanks a ton for pinning the images, you know that your support and sharing is appreciated!!
